1998-present Caretaker for James Newman.  Care for person with AIDS and a brain
injuring condition at  home.

1997-1998 Upholsterer James Newman Workroom, Delray Beach, FL. Partners with James Newman in his decorator's workroom. Involved in all aspects of running a small business.

1995-1997 Room Attendant / Porter / Inspector / Assistant Housekeeping Manager Amfac, Yellowstone National Park, WY. Involved with all aspects of the housekeeping operations for the concession in the park. Worked summer seasons at Lake Hotel and Cabins, winters at Old Faithful Snowlodge.

1993-1995 Upholsterer, James Newman Workroom, Delray Beach, Fl.

1992-1994 Laborer, Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, Boynton Beach, FL. Primarily worked on controlling the exotic Meleluca tree on the refuge. Also general maintenance and grounds keeping.

1991-1991 Field Assistant, Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon. Silver fire deer study. Assisted putting in transects to monitor elk and deer pellet groups in the Siskiyou Mountains. Some vegetation sampling.

1989-1989 Research Assistant, Lantana Research Group Incorporated, Lake Worth, Florida. Lab and field work developing control strategies for biting midges (Culicoides) in mangrove swamps. Responsibilities included sorting, identifying, and counting Culicoides, fiddler crab censusing, collection of mud, preparation of mud samples, gathering data on tides and on the temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen concentration of water in the swamps, vegetation mapping, plant identification, setup of experimental treatment plots, library research, and general equipment maintenance.

1986-1986 Resource Management Volunteer, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee. Responsibilities were primarily control of exotic vegetation, but also included brush removal on the parks grassy balds, spraying for control of the Balsam Woolly "Aphid" on Fraser Fir, and some office work.

1982-1982 Shipping Clerk, Wenoka Cutlery, Riviera Beach, Florida. Responsible for packing and shipping orders for diving knives.

1981-1988 Painter, Johnson Paint Company, Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Responsibilities included painting, surface preparation, paperhangers assistant, cleaning, shop maintenance, office work, pickup and delivery of materials, and general errands.
